1999

It was in 1999 that an 18 year-old young man, student of a foreign language faculty, passionated by travelling, walked through a door that had opened up a whole universe to him. Hired by a small local travel agency as a tour guide to accompany tourists to Uzbekistan, this young man devoted 11 years to the discovery of Central Asia, guiding mainly French-speaking tourists to the country’s tourist sites, in museums and hiking. After living 3 years in Europe and 14 years in Canada, graduated from HEC Montreal (BAA), having traveled to 19 countries around the world, he finally found happiness on the threshold of his own home in Samarkand. A young professional in the field of military engineering, a fan of martial arts, a former demining technician in a unit of the special police forces in Tashkent, a lover of mountaineering and land trekking, this man has spent the last 18 years to ecotourism and cultural trips.
